This print depicts two black-headed seagulls attacking a shore crab. It is hand-printed using a baren, and blocks and stamps carved out of Japanese vinyl. The blocks are used for the birds, the stamps for the crab.

I used Cranfield Caligo black ink for the birds and a Tsukineko Versafine Clair Acorn ink pad for the crab.

You will often find me on Swansea’s beautiful beaches, and this scene plays out by the rockpools every day.
