This was carved from a piece of plywood using Flexcut and Pfeil tools. I used the vintage Columbian press at the Swansea Print workshop. What a privilege to use a machine with such history, and still in perfect working order. I also had some good results printing by hand on Wenzhou paper.

I’ve printed it on kitakata and Wenzhou paper. I am drawn to the delicate but strong texture of the Wenzhou paper. It’s translucent, as you can see in the video.
